Vote by mail clip art of ballot, envelope and ballot box.

Due to delays with the USPS, please return your ballot by hand to an official drop box or polling place. Do not return by mail after October 27.

Polls Close 7 pm on November 3rd.

Registration is closed. October 27 is the last day to request a mail-in ballot.

Due to a higher than normal volume of requests for mail-in ballots, we ask that you vote and return your completed ballot as soon as possible to make sure your vote is counted and relieve strain on the county election office.

Mail-in ballots may be returned to a designated Sedgwick County ballot drop box, sent via USPS mail, or dropped at any early voting or election day polling place.

All mail-in ballots must be returned or post marked by 7 PM central on November 3, 2020.

Ballot Drop box Locations

For the 2020 General Election the secure ballot drop boxes will be opened on October 14th. All ballot drop boxes are located outside and accessible 24/7. The drop boxes will be closed at 7 p.m. on November 3, 2020.

Didn't receive your ballot?

If you requested and have not received your mail-in ballot after they are mailed on October 14, 2020.

  1. Check the status of your application for a mail-in ballot at myvoteinfo.voteks.org/VoterView.
  2. If your mail-in ballot has been sent to you, but you have not received it, please contact the Sedgwick County Election office by telephone at (316) 660-7100 or email at voterinformation@sedgwick.gov.
  3. If you are unable to resolve your issue in time to receive and return your mail-in ballot before the deadline on November 3, 2020, please go vote in person at an early voting location or your regular polling place. If you requested a mail-in ballot you will need to vote a provisional ballot. YOUR PROVISIONAL VOTE WILL COUNT, as long as you don't also vote via your mail-in ballot. Find your regular polling place at myvoteinfo.voteks.org/VoterView or early voting locations here.
